Uganda Development Construction (SMC)Company Limited (UDCCL) is a national construction company under establishment. The UDCCL is being established following a directive that seeks to involve the participation of the local content in the construction sector and seeking to address some of the challenges faced in the local construction industry in meeting the local content requirements.

UDCCL is set to undertake big construction projects for both government and the private sector, the services shall include: Design works for Dams, Bridges and Roads construction, construction of Airports and Helipads, Seaport construction, Estates construction, Public facilities construction like hospitals, schools, stadia, shopping malls, office complexes and industrial facilities etc., construction consultancy and advisory services.
